PURE NINJA / Privacy policy

Your label.
Your data.

This policy describes the Pure Ninja 2.0 app and this website: what is processed, why, who receives it and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Who is responsible

The publisher and data controller is Krzysztof Guz. For privacy questions or requests, contact krzysztof.guz@me.com.

Data on your device

The app stores your analysis results, dates, preferences, saved products and keep/skip decisions locally. Label photos are not retained in the app’s history. iOS device backups may include app data, depending on your settings. We do not operate an account-based cloud history service.

When you request AI analysis

After you consent, the selected label photo or text, your chosen preferences and response language are sent over HTTPS to our analysis service and OpenAI. Photos are resized and re-encoded without their original metadata. We do not send your entire photo library or scan history. Avoid including unrelated personal or sensitive information in a label photo or preferences.

Subscriptions and service security

Apple processes purchases. Our analysis service receives a signed subscription transaction and verifies access with Apple. The service temporarily uses a hashed subscription identifier for request limits and an IP address for security controls. We do not receive your payment-card number.

Storage and retention

Local history remains until you delete it or remove the app; backups are managed separately. The analysis service does not intentionally retain label images, label text or AI results after processing and does not log request contents. Temporary request-limit records expire after their configured window, currently up to 24 hours. Infrastructure providers may process technical connection and security logs under their own retention settings.

OpenAI may retain content in safety logs, generally for up to 30 days, with exceptions. Our requests disable response storage. This setting does not disable all provider safety logging. See the provider’s current data controls for details.

Why we process data

We use label content and preferences to provide the AI analysis you request, with your prior consent to transmission. Subscription verification supports performance of your subscription contract. Essential technical processing supports our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service. Legal obligations may require retention of certain business records. Where consent is the legal basis, you can withdraw it for future processing without affecting processing already completed.

Service providers and international processing

OpenAI provides AI analysis, Apple handles subscriptions, and Google Firebase Hosting serves this website. These providers may process data outside your country. Their data-processing terms and privacy information describe their respective practices and international transfer safeguards.

The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). AI analysis uses OpenAI. Firebase Hosting processes incoming IP addresses to deliver and protect the service and retains IP data for a few months. Provider information is linked below; no specific data-residency region or zero-retention arrangement is claimed for this service.

This website

This site uses no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or nonessential cookies. The hosting provider processes technical requests needed to deliver pages, which may include your IP address and browser information. Fonts and images are served from this site. External App Store and provider links are governed by their respective privacy policies.

If you contact us

We process your email address and the information you send to answer your request. Please send only what is needed. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and meet any applicable legal obligations. You may ask about its retention or request deletion.

Your choices and rights

You can export or delete local history and withdraw consent for future AI analysis in the app’s settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Contact us to make a request. You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Deleting local history does not automatically delete provider security logs or cancel an Apple subscription.

Children and health information

Pure Ninja is not designed to collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate permission, contact us. Do not use the app to submit medical records or obtain a diagnosis. Product explanations are educational.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when processing changes and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel where required.
